sorry folks...

not much time here...we're currently in Milan, waiting to take the overnight train into Naples at 22:00. We spent 3 nights in Venice, had enough of the vaporettos (which were agonizingly slow!), went to see the Accademia and the Guggenheim, as well as the islands of Lido, Murano, Burano and Torcello. Then, off to Verona for Aida...got rained on for 2 hours, before it thankfully cleared up enough for them NOT to cancel the opera. Then, caught an early train to Milan, checked in, then followed the locals to Como for the day. Had trouble finding places to eat (a lot of places were closed for their holiday), so went back to Milan instead. Today, we slept in a bit, checked out, and headed out to see the Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, and some shopping! I'll give full details later, but right now, gotta run!
